One thing I enjoy about taking photos is finding a spot no one else (that I know) has thought of using as a back drop. Hearing, "I never would of thought of that!" never gets old... The photo above is a photo I get a lot of questions about.
I took this photo in March of 2010, it's old and the location has changed. The grungy couch has been hauled off, the area fenced off and the wall repainted. The building and neighborhood is still the same. I guess this would be considered cleaned up compared to when I took the photo...
The location is not the safest spot to be in, not too bad during the day. Being alone with Presley I am more on guard then if I were alone. So when we took this photo we hopped out of the car, I snapped just a few photos and we quickly got in the car and locked the doors...
I'm lucky I got the photo in the spring of 2010. Being a nicer time of year in Arizona the slim section of grass along the sidewalk is actually green, adding to the beauty... I like this area and I come here a lot for photos. The art on the side of these buildings charges often. It's nice because I like the variety but I do miss some of the art, this location is one...
I wanted to share this to see if this location was anthing like you imagined it to look like. I'll have to post a few more like this..
