Hopefully all of my Christmas cards have reached their final destination. If not here it is.
I use to make all of my Christmas cards. I have used everything from old material, old cards, wire, buttons and beads. This is the first year using a photo card... I wasn’t real sure what I was going to do for a photo, this just happened.
The words written are lyrics from Stevie Wonders, “Someday at Christmas” song (lyrics below). I honestly do not remember ever hearing this song- this verse really hit me. I love the song but still did not plan on having it on my Holiday card...
I had taken Presley to a park to have her photo taken (second location) in front of a 40 foot Christmas tree made of tumble weeds. We live in Arizona so it seemed fitting... The tree turned out to not be what I expected (spray painted white).
Now after two different attempts at a Christmas photo I was still left with nothing and a week into December. On our way home I stopped at my favorite photo location. It’s on the way.
Later that night I uploaded all my photos and deleted any unusable photos, like I usually do. As I began to delete this one (because of her eyes being closed)- this card popped in my head...

Turning a moment into a memory...
Someday at Christmas men won't be boys
Playing with bombs like kids play with toys
One warm December our hearts will see
A world where men are free
