Ahhh, it's over. We had a great weekend but I have to admit I'm glad it's over. Presley went to bed late every night and as the sleep expert explained- that's sleep she'll never get back (ahh more guilt for Mom)... However on the positive side, she (Presley) and I went to a football game, and two Halloween parties. She was the cutest bedtime fairy!
What is a bedtime fairy you ask. Well it's a book she has and we were reading it a few weeks ago when she still wanted to be a horse (for Halloween). They are little fairies that help you fall asleep... She pointed out that one of the bedtime fairies looked like her I suggested that's what she should be for Halloween. I had checked out the horse and unicorn costumes, not only did they look hot they were not very cute. So I was pretty excited she agreed to be a fairy.
I was up last night until 3:00AM painting her wings to match her skirt. She looked so cute and was so happy. I didn't show her the costume until right before we left to meet her friends, I was afraid she would change her mind. But thankfully she loved it and was so excited it was pink.
This is the first year she has gone trick or treating and she swears to me it's called, "Tigger Treat". She was so convincing I had to go with it! I don't know if I've ever enjoyed Halloween as much as I have this year! Happy Halloween!
