Joel Robuchon, At The Mansion
I'm still in Las Vegas for my WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Conference. Today is the final day and I've had such an amazing time. If you have ever been to a conference for any reason you may understand the excitement that it creates. I feel energized, inspired and I can't wait to get started. The photos above will calm my craving until I get home (I think).
This restaurant is in the MGM Casino and I walked past it every day on the way to the conference center. I walked in yesterday and asked to come back and photograph it (I didn't have my camera). The woman sitting at the front desk told me she didn't think so. I thanked her and left. Today I returned *with* my camera! The same girl was sitting at the front desk so I asked her again. She said yes! She must of known I wasn't going to take no for an answer. Thank goodness she didn't put up a fight because I had all sorts of back up reasons on why she should let me.
I did respect the fact that she asked me not to step into the dining room. Which was a little disappointing because the amazing detailed table settings was something I loved. I am super pleased that I got the first shot of the chandelier. I am and have always been obsessed with chandeliers... I love the elegance and beauty of this room. This is the type of feeling I would love love to create in my home and in my photos!
