Summers on Lake George are pretty much all the same. We visit the same people, eat the same food and go to the same events every year and I can't think of anything better! Whether we like it or not we are all Norm from Cheers... I love coming here every year (I've only missed one summer in 10 years) and I look forward to coming all winter long.
I've said before and I say it again, summers here is like living in a Norman Rockwell painting! Most if not all our events are family events and it's a given kids are included. Presley has so many friends (and summer cousins) I know she will have some of her best childhood memories made here...
Most of our time here we are surrounded by nature untouched by man (Adirondack Mountain Park). I can look at the east side of the lake and see the same view as the American Indians did 200 plus years ago. This is a view that will remain untouched forever and that makes me happy...
With all this being said it's hard to believe I don't have that many photos of this place! I'm just so busy enjoying myself I've never done much work here. This summer I had a few sessions planned before I even stepped foot in New York. That helped getting my mind set early on in our visit. I still have several more coming up and I'm really excited!
The kiddos above are a few of the friends Presley plays with here in NY. They are just getting to the age where they remember each other from year to year. This is the first year that Sophia and Presley are in camp together- that should be fun!... We took these photos on July 3rd. I wish we had done them a little sooner so that I could of had the photos (or at least a few) edited for by 4th of July. But hey stars and stripes are great any time of year, right?
I love see each of these little ones grow and I love that I get to photograph them in such a beautiful place that is so dear to me. When I walked into the house to greet the kids before the session Maura's first words to me were, "Vikki, I love you!" Oh how these kids know how to get straight to my heart...
The summer clock is ticking and I'm so glad to be here and apart of the Classic Adirondack summer...
