As you may know I've talked about Disney and some of the issues I have with them (marketing to our kids). That's not ot say our house is void of Disney stuff, it's just done in a specific way (in other words- don't give me grief)... We love the movies/Disneyland, not a fan of the merchandise. Anyway!...
After seeing Tangled Presley wanted some floating lanterns (this was for her 4th birthday). I was able to find them on the internet and it was a lot of fun to set them off for her birthday. We haven't done them since, but before coming here I ordered a dozen more online. By the way if you decide to do the same use the colored one for the day time, much easier to see!
A few nights ago we were having a campfire with our friends and eating smores we decided to set a few off. Oh what a treat it was for Presley and her new summer friend Blake (more on him later). We haven't set them off enough to be totally confident that they would work, so I was concerned. I have to say I was pretty excited to see them flying away.
Blake and Presley both made a wish as they sent theirs out. Blake right away said, "I wish I could be a race car driver!" Presley was jumping around, not quite sure what to say. I told her she could keep her wish to herself if she wanted, she said, "I'll keep it to myself."
We still have several more that we are saving for a night with Presley and her summer cousins. I imagine seeing eight of them flying will be pretty spectacular, I hope to have a few photos of that!
